These Turkey Roll Ups are a delightful and comforting dish perfect for using leftover turkey. Stuffed with savory stuffing and smothered in rich turkey gravy, they make a hearty meal paired with buttery green beans and tangy cranberry sauce, ideal for a cozy family dinner or holiday feast.

Ingredients

Scale

Turkey Roll Ups

  • 16 slices deli sliced turkey (leftover or deli)
  • 3 cups prepared stuffing (homemade or boxed)
  • 1 ½ cups turkey gravy (prepared)

Vegetables

  • 2 cups frozen green beans (or your favorite vegetable)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Extras

  • 1 cup cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the correct temperature by the time you’re ready to bake your turkey roll ups.
  2. Prepare the turkey rolls: Lay out 2 slices of turkey on a flat surface, overlapping them slightly. Spoon a generous amount of stuffing onto one end of the turkey slices, then carefully roll them up tightly, enclosing the stuffing inside. Repeat this process with the remaining turkey slices and stuffing.
  3. Arrange in baking dish: Place each turkey roll seam side down in a 9×13 inch baking pan to help them hold their shape while cooking. This arrangement prevents the rolls from unrolling during baking.
  4. Add gravy and vegetables: Pour the prepared turkey gravy evenly over the turkey rolls to keep them moist and flavorful. On one side of the pan, add the frozen green beans, seasoning them with salt and pepper, then dot with butter for richness.
  5. Add cranberry sauce: Spoon the cranberry sauce along one side of the pan. This will warm up during baking and add a sweet contrast to the savory meal.
  6. Bake the dish: Cover the entire pan with aluminum foil to lock in moisture and bake for about 30 minutes or until everything is heated through and bubbly.

Notes

  • For best results, use leftover cooked turkey rather than cold deli turkey slices.
  • You may substitute green beans with other vegetables like carrots or Brussels sprouts according to preference.
  • If you want a crispier turkey roll exterior, remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Make sure the stuffing is not too wet to prevent sogginess inside the roll ups.
  • This recipe can be doubled to serve a larger crowd.
  • Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
