Ingredients

Scale

Peanut Butter Dough:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Brownie Dough:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare Peanut Butter Dough: Beat together peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Set aside.
  2. Prepare Brownie Dough: Whisk melted butter with white sugar. Stir in cocoa powder, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Chill Doughs: Refrigerate both peanut butter and brownie doughs for 30 minutes to firm up for easier handling.
  4. Form Cookies: Scoop small blobs of each dough onto a baking sheet. Using a toothpick, swirl the two doughs together to create a marbled effect.
  5. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes until edges are set. Let cool on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier edge, bake slightly longer but watch closely to avoid burning.
  • If dough is too sticky, chill it longer or add a small amount of flour to make it easier to handle.
