Ingredients

Scale

Pasta and Meat

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Dairy & Cheese

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings & Others

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook Spaghetti: Boil the spaghetti in salted water until just al dente. Drain thoroughly and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Prepare Creamy Mixture: In a large bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Gently fold in the cooked shredded chicken, 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and the cooked spaghetti into the creamy mixture until the pasta is evenly coated.
  5. Assemble Casserole: Pour the combined mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup cheddar cheese evenly over the top, then scatter the crumbled cooked bacon over the cheese.
  6. Bake Covered: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes to allow flavors to meld and heat through.
  7. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking for 10–15 more minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese on top is golden brown.
  8. Rest and Garnish: Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes after removing from the oven. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, then serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Adjust garlic powder and black pepper to taste based on your preference.
  • For a lighter option, use reduced-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
  • The bacon can be omitted or replaced with a vegetarian bacon alternative for different dietary requirements.
  • Make sure not to overcook the spaghetti as it will continue cooking in the oven during baking.
