Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1420 Frozen Dumplings
  • 3 Tablespoons Red Curry Paste
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil (or oil of choice)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can Coconut Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Ginger (minced)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey (or real maple syrup)

Garnish

  • Cilantro
  • 2 Green Onions (sliced)
  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons Chili Crunch
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Baby Spinach (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Dish: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium baking dish or an ovenproof skillet to prevent sticking and prepare for baking the dumplings.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together coconut milk, red curry paste, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced fresh ginger, and garlic. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed—add more soy sauce for saltiness, rice vinegar for brightness, or curry paste for spice.
  3. Arrange Dumplings: Place frozen dumplings in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce evenly over the dumplings, making sure they are mostly covered with the sauce.
  4. Bake Covered: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. This allows the dumplings to steam and cook through in the sauce.
  5. Uncover and Finish Baking: Remove the foil and continue baking for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the dumplings are tender and cooked through.
  6. Add Spinach (Optional) and Garnish: If using baby spinach, immediately top the hot dumplings with fresh spinach so it wilts slightly. Garnish generously with cilantro, sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and chili crunch to add freshness and texture.

Notes

  • Frozen dumplings from Trader Joe’s work well, but any frozen dumplings from your local grocery store will work.
  • If using dried ginger instead of fresh, use 1 teaspoon.
